Episode Synopsis:
1. Crankworx
The bikes are ready, the boys are stoked - and what better place to start off the bike trip of a lifetime than Whistler, BC? Meet the Season 5 crew as they all meet up in Whistler to rip up the downhill trails. The Drop In bus parks smack in the middle of Whistler village for Kokanee Crankworx - and its 30,000 spectators! Find out who kills it in the contest and who comes away disappointed. Add to this some gnarly back-yard dirt jumps in Squamish, and you've got a killer start to Drop In Season 5!
2. Mt. Washington The tour is a week deep and the bus already smells like feet! The boys roll into Vancouver for a sweet skate park session at Gully's home park. Unfortunately, it doesn't take long for the season's first injury to go down, sending one of the crew to the hospital. Digger takes the guys up to some trails on the North Shore, where Romo "takes off his skirt" and kills it on the crazy features. Next up? Vancouver Island and the Bearclaw Invitational - find out what gets thrown down on the "gnarliest slopestyle course ever"!
3. USA It's the moment of truth for the bus - will it make it across the Canada-US border with its cargo of dirtbags? Luckily for them, the answer is yes. After sneaking over the border, the guys head south to meet up with Mike Metzker and Kyle Thomas from the Transition bikes crew. Although they lose one dirtbag to his injuries from last episode, they manage to pick up two new, young shredders - Alex Reveles and Andrew Taylor, who show the rest of the crew they are more than worthy to ride the bus with their Cali steez on the dirt jumps!
4. Blackrock The original dirtbags, McCaul and Romo, reunite with the bus in Washington and the whole crew throws down a huge downhill session! Dylan is back on his bike, and Ross nearly knocks his teeth out in a street session in the industrial district. A-Rev throws down huge, and AT pulls out his first signature back-flip. Cam McCaul's girlfriend, pro shredder Kathy Pruitt, makes a guest appearance and shows the boys how it's done!
5. Hood River The boys set up camp dirtbag-style in the Walmart parking lot in Hood River, Oregon. Mitch sets the bar high at the dirt jumps, and the rest of the guys step up to the challenge, throwing down huge. Santa Cruz rider Kurt Vories welcomes the Drop In crew to Bend, Oregon by taking them up to one of his favorite trails and then showing them how its done on his sick indoor mini-ramps! Ross finds a new use for maxi pads, and the guys wrap up their time in Bend with an epic dirt jump session.
6. Cali It's NorCal time for the Drop In boys as they follow the sun to Redding, California. AT and A-Rev can barely contain their excitement to be home, and it shows when they finally get back on their NorCal dirt jumps! But DJs aren't all Redding has to offer... Romo and the guys stumble across a sweet dusty trail up in the woods, for some "two-wheel driftin'". Riders Greg Watts and Zach Hensley make an appearance, while Ross and Dylan throw down another sick street sesh.
7. Half Way The crew is still ripping it up in NorCal - AT takes everybody to his old-school local skate park and shows the boys his flow. All the guys from up north get to try out their first pump track, where Mitch goes crazy. Dylan and Ross head out in search of a secret street spot with only a treasure map as their guide, and the one and only Randy Spangler comes out to shred with the boys on his dirt jumps! Then Spangler takes Romo, Dylan and Cory up to his local trail, where things get a little too "zesty" for Romo. Check out one of the best episodes yet for more riding than you can handle.
8. Kids on Bikes Cali still has lots more to offer the crew as Dylan and Ross rise with the sun to shred another secret street spot. Next, the guys meet up with the one and only Josh Bender for some lift-access trail riding at Northstar-at-Tahoe. The bus rolls out for an epic drive through the salt flats to "the biggest little city in the world", Reno, Nevada. Mitch steps it up at the local dirt jumps and sticks his first flipwhip on dirt. AT gets a reality check from Ambrose and then finally, a massive foam-pit session and a guest appearance by Eric Porter and Nick Van Dyne wrap up the Reno episode!
9. Moab Deer Valley in Utah isn't just for skiing - it's also home to the NORBA national downhill course, and Eric Porter takes the guys for a spin on the old-school, rocky trail. Mitch pulls a rock-star move and gets put in his place, and the guys park the bikes for an afternoon and jump on wakeboards. Mike Metzker re-joins the crew in Moab just in time for a crazy storm, followed by some of the best filming of the season when the guys come across an amazing natural park setup on the Utah sliprock.
10. Super Booter
The crew heads to Green River in search of the mythical "super booter". Metzker goes "bike-hiking" while Gully and AT get lost in the desert looking for the booter. When they finally find it, Ross gives everybody a scare when he over-rotates on a 720 off the booter and has a serious bail. Romo and Metzker have one of the most mind-blowing descents ever caught on film, while Dylan takes his street style to the desert rocks.
11. Rampage Zone The former Redbull Rampage site is one of the most famous in the US, and the Drop In crew gets to experience it first-hand as they dig out their lines during a torrential downpour - which leads to the perfect riding conditions! The whole crew steps up for what might be the best dirt session of the tour, but Andrew Taylor steals the show when he lands a legendary flip off the Canadian Bacon drop!
12. Dirtbags It's back to the great white north for the Drop In crew, as they head to Whistler to meet up with the winners of the "Be a Dirtbag" contest. Kyle Thomas, Logan Peat and Frankie Vass, dirtbag-wannabes, step up to the challenge with the rest of the guys. Frankie attempts to ride with no brakes, Logan shreds the hell out of the dirt jumps and Kyle takes a cruise with Romo down the mountain. After a big session in the airdome, the crew is forced to say their goodbyes to each other and the season.
13. Best Of This is it, the ultimate episode - the BEST OF season 5! Check out the best shots of the tour as the guys all recount their favorite moments from BC, Washington, Oregon, Cali, Nevada and Utah!
