About Drop In
Five years and four amazing summer seasons of drop in have been witness to the latest freeride mountain bike
craze and progression.
Television and Web audiences around the globe have been attracted to the series' unique lifestyle perspective,
having the ability to follow the real-life "cast" of professional athletes as they travel and live together
in one stinky bus in search of the next rush The last four seasons of Drop In were filmed in some of
the most epic and beautiful environments throughout the US, Canada and New Zealand. With these stunning
natural environments as a backdrop, Drop In Season 5 renews its focus on the west, United States, and follows some
of the worlds most experienced riders through the trials and tribulations of riding at the limits of sanity, and
the drama of close quarters living on the infamous Drop In bus.
Drop In Season Five
Drop In on the lives of five professional freeride mountain bikers as they embark on the road trip
of a lifetime in search of the best known, and yet undiscovered bike mecca’s america has to offer.
A full thirteen episodes will follow a tour schedule from these athletes’ home turf to some of the best riding on the planet. Season 5 will feature unique venues like gorgeous Whistler, British Columbia and the largest mountain bike event in North America, Crankworx, to the contrast of Utah’s back country and Nevada’s deserts, the lush Pacific Northwest, and the
forests and urban environments of California.
Cameras behind the scenes with these world-renowned athletes will capture their thoughts and fears, the birth of friendships, the adventures, and inevitable scrapes and scratches this road trip of a lifetime will bring. With a full
web interactive component including daily webisodes, video blogs by each member, and all the behind the scenes action they cant get on TV, Drop In season 5 provides incredible access to a core and
devoted audience of young action sports enthusiasts.
